Sally’s Pilates classes during the lockdown have been an absolute godsend. The different classes each day allow you to fit them in with your work or domestic schedules. Sally manages to make pain almost pleasurable! The imagery Sally creates is a huge help in making the exercises more effective. Sally has the wonderful knack of making each session fresh and enjoyable. Sally has such a lovely personality that makes you want to work harder for her.

I have been going to Pilates classes with Sally for about 18 months and I love it. I now have stomach muscles!! The biggest benefit for me has been the strengthening that has led to a reduction in tightness in my shoulders when I feel tired and stressed. I also now know effective stretches to relieve any tightness that threatens to develop. I really like the way that Pilates exercises evolve to constantly challenge you and that no two classes are the same. It is also fun and because the group is small, I now have a new group of friends.

Having been doing Sally’s classes for over 8 years, I still have moments of ‘wow, she’s so good!’. Sally’s classes are the perfect balance of challenge, refocus and relaxation. She is always very aware and knowledgeable when it comes to injuries or limitations and will adapt the exercises to suit. The classes are varied and the time always flies by (even if you’re feeling the burn!). The ability to choose from the different classes each week is also really useful as it gives you flexibility with your weekly commitments, enabling you to choose high impact or relaxation class.…or to challenge yourself with multiple classes!

Sally’s classes are the highlight of the week. I have had several Pilates instructors through the years, Sally is the best. To have access to so many different classes through the week is incredible value. Sally makes you feel like a personal friend although I don’t have any other friends who cause me quite so much pain! The Zoom sessions are fantastic and so convenient. Don’t tell Sally but I sometimes cheat out of camera shot!

I have been attending Sally's classes for about 2 years and found them to be very efficiently run and very effective. Sally always gives clear guidance on what to do and what you should be feeling and achieving. The classes are very well targeted to particular parts of the body and there is always great variety in the exercises. She is always mindful of peoples individual problems and limitations at the same time as taking us carefully through very effective exercises. All her classes are run in a friendly and jolly manner which we all enjoy and appreciate. Whilst I miss the social contact of the real meetings of old the virtual classes have worked very well.
